While working for Shawnee Summer Theatre, I had the pleasure of designing costumes, hair and makeup for their annual melodrama. The Shawnee Melodrama is a tradition in Bloomfield, Indiana; a campy script is produced and directed for the enjoyment of the audience to pelt the actors with plush tomatoes. This specific production was a parody of stereotypical murder mysteries and takes place in the forties.
