A Night of Stars with Tennessee Williams
By Maxim Vinogradov

This original play was a unrealized Design Storm! project at the region 3 Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival. I had the privilege of directing this collaborative effort of portraying such a beautifully written play. In this historical fiction, the focus is Tennessee Williams and the obstacles he overcame socially, and psychologically.

By Adam Guettel & Tina Landau

This acoustic musical was a unrealized Design Storm! project at the 2020 region 3 Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival. I loved getting to collaborate with many other young designers on this wonderful show. I personally related to this show a lot because of the setting being in Cave Country. Having this personal connection to the script help me and my team make a wonderful unrealized design.

For this capstone project I had to direct and design a full production. The staging was set in thrust so I had to accommodate with my blocking and my scenic layout. This was both a challenge and a fun learning experience as I got to fully realize a play and fully execute my artistic visions. This project won the award for Crafts, Engineering, and Management at the 2019 region 3 Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival.

10,000 Cigarettes
By Alex Broun

--Director

For this student directed production, I had the pleasure of working with four talented actresses to spread awareness of smoking. This one-act play consisted of four sisters talking about their experiences and fantasies with cigarettes, only to discover that this led to their father’s demise.

Move Over, Mrs. Markham
By Ray Cooney

--Assistant Director
University of Indianapolis

During this British Farce, I was responsible for doing character work with the actors. Another key job I had was collaborating with the designers to really embrace the 1960’s. One of my favorite parts was pitching the idea of a beaded curtain instead of doors.
